Youngster set on providing quality education to underprivileged!
As part of his mission, JSR Annamayya visited well over 500 government schools and 100 colleges in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana

This 28-year-old youngster, hailing from Narasaraopet of Guntur district is on a mission to provide quality education to the underprivileged kids, and teach them the required skills to land stable jobs.
Annamayya has completed his BTech from a local college, and worked as a software engineer at a firm in Hyderabad. He started his journey as a skill trainer during a conversation with a student, when traveling in a bus. This boy explained to Annamayya that even after having experienced teachers, they were unable to meet the needs of the job market.
After sleeping on it for a while, and doing a thorough research at the local schools, the youngster concluded that students were not able to connect to education, due to the old teaching methods being followed by most schools, despite them having internet facilities, digital classrooms & libraries.
After a few sessions, when enquired, the results of this concept proved of use to both students and teachers. Besides this, during Covid-19 pandemic, him along with two others, successfully designed a new web application www.checkcovidnow.com which can help to track the positive cases in a particular region.
This particular app also helped the GMC officials to trace several cases during the first and second Covid-19 waves. Later, he was appointed in-charge of IEC or the Information, Education, Communication set up by the GMC to educate the communities about local issues, and to bring positive changes at the ground-level. Recognising his services to society, he was awarded the National Youth Award 2018-19 by the National Human Rights Commission.
