Sharma says that they are into ‘manufacturing or cooking happiness’. The Happy Tribe ‘toolkit’ has both natural and scientific tools - mental, emotional, biological and psychological and their main mission is to be able to improve the happiness quotient in the people.
Sharma said, “You must have heard about UN Happiness Index where India ranks 139 out of the 149 countries surveyed. We wanted to increase the happiness index, both in India and globally. We are both a B2B (business to business) and B2C (business to consumer) organisation, increasing the happiness quotient individually and in organisations, with multi-pronged benefits, wherein our objective is to increase smiles per person.”
He says he trained over 150 CEOs, 1000 professionals and 150 entrepreneurs to live happily. He added, “There are certain variables that give us happiness. If these variables are used in proper proportion and order, then we can manufacture happiness.”
Those who can afford it are charged, and the very same cash is then used for those who can’t afford it. Sharma has also adopted 5 villages at Dalma in Jamshedpur to start an organic farm. That is where a happiness centre is in the works of being established. This is an extremely unique initiative and it appears to be proving to be fruitful.
He says that 80% of our problems are self-created - because people aren’t processing and responding to situations in the correct way. Unfortunately, the schools, colleges, and the entire education system or even the training and development organisations aren’t helping people to manufacture the happiness, because they are solely focused on making money.
Ashutosh, who is the senior manager at Tata Steel, said, “He taught us how to analyse the situation properly before responding to it.”
Prihsa Pranjal, who is a Class 11th student, said that there are many who know how to motivate people, but Sharma guided them on how to implement those things practically into their lives.
