MRI scan at Rs50, dialysis at Rs600 -Gurdwara Bangla Sahib, Delhi

  

 

 

 

At the time when the economy is at stake, many people are jobless, people are infected, many people have lost their lives and what not is happening . In this crucial situation ,Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) has taken a very great initiative for making healthcare affordable for all.

 

They are providing medical facilities at a very cheaper cost , so that the poor and needy can afford it and also be benefited from their resources . Inside the Gurdwara Bangla Sahib you will get a diagnose and dialysis centre. They provide the cheapest medicines and dialysis and now they are going to provide the cheapest MRI , X-ray and ultrasound diagnosis in Delhi .Their motive is to serve humanity.

 

They are giving MRI scans at just Rs 50 , Ultrasound at just Rs 150, and dialysis for Rs 600 only , whereas if we go to other hospitals , their cost is way too expensive , the range in the hospitals will be around 2000-8000 and sometimes even more . Also ,they are just taking 10 rupees per registration . They are not charging any fees in consultant charges and even they provide medicines.

 

From all around the world individuals and families have contributed around six crore rupees for the equipment which are essential for MRI , X-Ray , ultrasound and also for other medical facilities . With donations of over 6 crore rupees the committee managed to procure four dialysis machines , an MRI , an X-Ray and an Ultrasound machine . For now they have two large rooms in a 20,000 square foot poly clinic that have the new mark for the dialysis and MRI units .They have an entire unit of doctors , specialists , and technicians.

 

The whole idea behind this initiative is to provide good clinical and medical ,diagnostic services at a cheaper cost than you get it in the market . In the pharmacy ,the medicines have been taken directly from the manufacturers. The medicines are procured at a very basic cost and the operational cost is paid by the committee of Gurudwara by itself.

This is not the first time that Gurdwara has come in the limelight to help the needy . In this pandemic situation , they have come up with exceptional services which are the basic requirement of medical facilities at a cheaper rate for the country.
